This is a modern, well located, clean hotel with very disappointing service. Staff are very poorly trained, very slow and only do the basics.
For example, I arrived early and was told my room was not ready (which was fine) but was told they would call me when available. I sat in the foyer and worked but no-one approached me or called for 2 hours. When I then asked, I was told a room had been available for some time.
I ordered a toasted sandwich and soft drink and it took 45 mins to be delivered to the foyer.
I had to wave to get attention of the bar staff and when I asked for a chardonnay or pinot gris, the staff member had to ask their manager what that was. When I ordered a second he had to show me the bottle and ask if this is what I wanted (it was not busy, only 2-3 people at the bar).
The second evening I ordered "room service" at 10pm and was told I had to come to the foyer to pick it up.
