I have stayed at the Moondarra Motel every fornight for the last 6 years for work reasons. I have stayed in a lot of motels over the years because I travel for my job, and this has been my favourite by far. Jim and Cheryl are both lovely and friendly and have always gone out of their way to make my stay comfortable. It is a budget motel so it isnt the Ritz, but the rooms are always spotless and very well maintained and they have free high speed Wifi. They also have a range of room sizes including some with kitchens. It is located within easy walk of 2 supermarkets as well as restaurants, takeaway K-mart etc. I highly recommend them if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Innisfail.

A great motel to stop at on our travels down the east coast. Clean and spacious with milk and water waiting on our arrival, the wonderful host even upgraded our room. Extremely friendly staff, would definitely stay again!

Our expectations were not high when we saw the motel. It looks like it is in pretty bad shape from the outside. Once we checked in and saw our room, we were happy with the accommodation. The room was clean. What more could we ask for. The air con wasn’t fantastic but it kept the room comfortable. There isn’t a lot of choices of hotel/motels in Innisfail. We would love to have a 4 star accommodation, but that isn’t an option. This place suited our needs and for that we are grateful.
