We have been visiting Youlgrave for many years and have stayed in April Cottage many many times. April Cottage is a lovely place to stay and you always get a very warm welcome from Lisa and Matthew. The cottage is excellent and in a brilliant location. It is warm and comfortable and we have never been disappointed with any of our stays. Would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

“A cracking holiday cottage in the heart of the Peak District.”

Our first stay at April cottage. A lovely warm welcome from the owner as well as warm and cosy (read real fire as well as CH in the cottage), on a Winter weekend. Dropped into Bakewell and Chatsworth (& farm shop) on the Saturday. A great base for walking in the Peak with routes starting from the front door if you don't want to take the car. We did a short loop taking in the river walk down Bradford Dale. Looking forward to our next stay.
