“Home from Home!”
Sladen Lodge is warm and comfortable! Everything you could possibly need(and a few things you couldnt possibly have thought of) is there. The views all round are simply stunning. We were a party of 14 adults and 3 children all family members and everyone felt comfortable there immediately. It is stylish but not so super shiny that you are scared to move or are worried about the children!
The trainsrun close by and are rather loud when they hoot but the children thought this was wonderful and the adults had a great train spotting time! (they stopped hooting at night time). It is well situated for all the Peak and accommodates that many people with ease. We all loved it!

“Luxurious accommodation - great for a large party”
Our group of 13 got together for a birthday celebration and were all impressed by Sladen Lodge. There is plenty of room inside and out, it's really well furnished and equipped and has fabulous views. The owners are friendly and helpful and maintain the Lodge to a high standard.

comfy beds and power showers/well equipped kitchens/plenty of room/well furnished
Liked least:
the first train to go past was a shock but soon got used to it. The road noise would be a problem if you wanted to use the garden
