“Cosy, Romantic Perfection!”

We stayed for 2 nights (10th and 11th October) It's just wonderful! The owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The fire really warms the cottage (It had also been pre-lit by Eddie for us and the hot tub heated!) and we had been left logs, kindling and a bucket of peat. Large comfy bed upstairs- the bedroom is tastefully and rustically decorated. Romantic bath downstairs- ideal for watching TV, sipping wine whilst the man cooks dinner! The kitchen/lounge/bathroom has everything you could need. The owners have really thought of everything! The composting loo is just a short step outside and just one of the green/environmental elements about the cottage. Outside the views are breath taking. You can see the town down in the valley, but it's quiet and private- as if you had your own hillside! (The entrance to the lane from the road is quite steep- mind your car and take it slow!) The best thing of a wonderful stay is taking a dip in the warm hot tub under the stars, watching the twinkling lights of the farmhouses below and listening to far away sheep bleating and owls hooting! This is our new 'Happy Place' and we will be back! (Future visitors, make sure you have a game with Magic Jinn!!!) Thank you!!! 11/10!!!

Liked best: Everything, but especially the hot tub (and Magic Jinn!)
Liked least: The drop down to the lane in the car with a complaining partner!

“Beautiful cottage, idyllic location, excellent honeymoon!”

Wow! What a stunning place, the cottage was beautiful, anybody with a sense of adventure and humour would love what Eddie and Louise have done here. Everything about the cottage was quirky and in such a beautiful place we could have watched the world go by and never left!! There is plenty to see and do, lots of added extras, lovely hosts and a perfect destination if you are after a simple break away with peace and quiet, hot tub and relaxation.

Can't say enough how much of a lovely stay we had here, a holiday is what you make it and we shall be certain to return at a later date!
