Stayed here for the wknd with the whole the family, 13 in total as littlest was still in travel cot. There was plenty of room for all of us to fit extremely comfortably. The accommodation is beautifully and cleverly renovated and decorated throughout. Everything you need and more is within the barn, it's warm, cosy, comfortable, provides great areas for everyone to be together as well as having areas where you can get a bit of peace and quiet too. Couldn't find fault with the barn what so ever, Trish was incredibly helpful with booking, and a pleasure to deal with. Alston is 5 mins down the road and is convenient for a nip to the shop as well as restaurants and takeaways,
Amazing wknd, thanks very much!

Stayed for a long weekend with friends (8 adults, 4 children) and would highly recommend. Such a stunning property, very clean and tasteful, fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, cleaning (washer/dryer) or relaxing (sauna). Plenty of space for everyone, even if you want your own space. Great for long walks in the country.
Just had the most amazing weekend break at the fabulous Broadmea Barn with 11 of my friends. The architectural design and layout is fantastic with beautiful immaculate bedrooms/bathrooms, 3 separate seating areas, an outstanding kitchen where we could all sit around the table and enough space if you wanted some quiet time. Sauna was excellent. Perfect location for a relaxing break. Can't wait to go back!
Stayed here in the Barn for a week over new year 2013/2014. There was 9 of us and this was for my sons 18th birthday get together.
The accommodation is first class and the design is exceptional. It rained all week which limited us getting out and about for walks which was a shame as the setting is also fantastic. Visited the local pub kirkstyle inn just over a mile away. Very friendly and food is lovely and good value.
Had a drive out to Carlisle for a bit of retail therapy due to the bad weather.
The owners of the accommodation are lovely and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend this place and hopefully return in he summer months one year x
