The bridge hotel was terrible. The noise from outside was ridiculous until gone 12.30 at night.Nobody answered the phone for room service for the whole weekend we stayed which was just stupid then to add insult to injury when we left Sunday I got a phone call basically accusing me of taking the complimentary shampoo and bubble bath which apparently cost £55 and they even charged my friends card for them. The place was a joke and then when I complained they just argued back with me.Very badly run hotel.

Second visit to this hotel which is conveniently situated for visiting Prestbury. First visit was poor, but it has had a facelift since then so revisited. The upgrade is cosmetic and poorly executed. The bathrooms are poor with noisy plumbing and shoddy tiling installations. Our bathroom had mould on the ceiling and no loo brush. The room was out with the range of their WiFi, but it was not working anyway! The conversations in the adjoining room were audible, as was any music playing therein. The breakfast was served by friendly staff, but the food obviously ‘cost managed’. Perhaps COVID influenced some of this this but I doubt it. Half cooked toast, weak coffee, insufficient butter, underwhelming food. Bedrooms are along corridors with multiple swing doors and stepped changes of level. Car park is tight and busy, and our car got scraped by someone turning.
Disappointing visit despite the friendly staff.

From the moment we arrived to the moment of leaving, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly, fun, well trained professional staff. This, coupled with the beautiful stunning interior design, made for an extremely pleasant stay. The place is simply full of quality. We’d love to return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A convenient location to attend a family wedding nearby. The terrace was lovely to sit out on near the riverside and the food and service was very good. We had a quiet room and were soothed to sleep by the river and not traffic.

We were only staying for one night and it was convenient for where our friends live. The decor is nice and well done, but starting to sag a little (the rooms were done in very dark paint and so chips on woodwork etc were very noticeable as the paint below was white). The communal areas in the hotel section looked very run down (rotting window frames etc). The beds were very comfortable and we slept well, but there was an issue with flushing the toilet and worse of all, there was no hot water in either of our rooms. The staff knew about it, but couldn't improve things (and they didn't offer us a different room, although they may have been fully booked). The staff were friendly and breakfast was fine.
