This is one of the best restaurants in Gran Bahia Principe complex, definitely not to be missed. This was our second visit, and it did not disappoint. The food is fresh, meticulously prepared and full of flavor - but bring your own wine! The house wine is not too good, and a-la-carte wine list is priced higher than it deserves to be.

We ate at the Gourmet Restaurant in November, 2017. The restaurant itself is elegant with its tall ceilings, and stately window treatments. The service was very good. We had foi gras appetizers, Sea Bass and Rack of Lamb and desert. The restaurant was nearly full at the time of our 7:30 reservation. The menu is similar, in part, to Alux, Arlequin and Don Pablo. My advice would be to pick one or two of these, then change your theme for the others.

With huge buffets in the site and other A la Carte Restraurants , Le Gourmet is a little bit under expectation

A little weird to think of French dining while on vacation in Mexico, but it works. I had the Sea Bass and Tiger Shrimp, both cooked perfectly. The ambience of the restaurant is typical of any restaurant but kicked up a notch.

We have been to this resort before and have found the food has improved substantially since our last visit. Preparation, service and presentation were all excellent before but are so much better now.

The flaming coffee as part of dessert is excellent and highly recommended.
