Ambience/location not ideal. Next to liquor store in strip mall. Here with spouse for dinner, usually here once a month. Food is consistently exceptional. Different ingredients/preparation. Portions are small, feel free to do all the courses. Given that, can be either reasonably priced or can start to creep up (but remember this is Fargo)! Quiet, almost an upscale diner! Service good. Wine and beers eclectic and changes frequently. The kind of place you can come back to regularly and have a good (and different) experience every time.

My fiancé and I requent Luna, at least once or twice a month and we bring our 5 year old with us. She loves noodles and cheese (chip off the ole block). The service is exceptional and the proportions are very thought out and not excessive. There are no televisions, loud music, flashing neon signs or other overstimulating distractions... besides peeking at other tables’ courses since their presentation is always beautiful and an individualized treat! It is a intimate setting with low lights and a local art environment to experience their daily specials and features. I work at a local business with plenty of out of town clientele and I recommend Luna to them as much as possible. It is casual fine dining so it isn’t plump full of happy hour specials, but you get what you pay for, delicious and treasured eats.

This is a local bistro, in a strip mall. Plain decor, casual, local art on the walls. Constantly changing menus, cheese case, and no reservations; are some of their unique attributes.

The good: The food was very good. The menu sounds more eclectic than the food suggests. The braised beef lasagna was a satisfying combo of the two. The butter poached cod with calamari in a broth was very good. Prices for most of the menu are very reasonable. The cheese plate and the meat plate appetizers are very good. Tim is an excellent host and waiter for dinner. Their version of an old fashioned cocktail is excellent. They add sour cherry and orange creme cordials. We make one that adds Grand Marnier. Theirs is so good, we will try and reproduce it at home. The dessert banana cream pie was good, but not a classic version. French press coffee was excellent. Good wine and beer list. A very creative chef.

The not so good: You can't get a meat and cheese plate appetizer. So, if you want both (we really enjoy the combo) it gets a little pricey ($ 16 dollars each). A combo option would be nice.

Overall a good meal and a good evening. We look forward to our next visit.

Nothing to offer other than raves. The popovers! The cheese plate! The wine and beer list! The staff! Those all stay consistent while the menu adapts to what's available, what's quality and good in the FM area at the time. You can't make a wrong choice -- it's all fantastic.

Locally owned, great wine and beer selections can be paired with fabulous cheeses, menu changes often, casual and not too noisy for a good conversation with interesting fare.
