Clean, looks and smells new, though we knew it wasn't. The lower floor game room was popular with our teenage grandsons. The preview information gave the impression there would be golfers ruining the quiet not too far away. Actually, they were quite far away, down the winding road some distance from the cabin. Very, very quiet at night. Everything you needed was in the kitchen and the stove, fridge, microwave and coffee pot were state of the art. Plenty of very hot water.
The wireless mouse would not connect with the PC and one TV had lines running through the picture. The next day they brought a new mouse as well as an HDMI cable for the TV. All fixed!
Only complaint was bedside lighting in the master bedroom. The shades are black, as if for a seance. We couldn't read in bed for a few minutes as we like to do before turning off the lights.
Further below it asks if we would recommend the property for older travelers. Yes, as long as you can climb steps. The lower level with two bedrooms is one flight up. There are no beds on the lowest level.
Liked best:
Sitting on the porch early in the morning for coffee, looking for birds and wildlife.
Liked least:
Black lamp shades in the master bedroom.
