Please read on if going here. Falls are beautiful but most directions on line lead you to the area about a block down the street. Here you park and the sign says .8 mile to the falls. That is a complete LIE. We took the, what I call a easy to moderate trail for the .8, this only brought us to another sign. Nothing on that one about the falls. So we took the one we thought would be to the falls another few blocks. Nothing. Although we could here them.
Turning around to walk back was frustrating but it was getting dark. On the way out we talk to some people that had been there before and they told us the way to go. Went back the next day and turns out it isn’t even a hike. Just a walk down a long path and down about 50 stairs. So when going here be aware.

Beautiful falls and a easy paved walk. It is a must see in Sapphire! Places to sit and admire the view. Stunning!

This is a stunning waterfall! I fact, I think it may be one of the tallest in the area. You pull into the parking area, and you take the paved path a short distance up to where you can see the falls from the top, across the gorge, and at a distance. If you take the wooden steps down (and there’s a lot of the), you come to a platform that gives you more of a look across and up at the falls. It’s a pretty view, but not a full landscape view as trees are growing taller in the area. For those with mobility issues, you can stay at the top and still get a nice look at these falls.

This was our second trip to Whitewater Falls and the second trip was just as breathe taking as the first. The sign said half a mile but it didn't seem like it to me. There are a bunch of steps going down to get a better view and to a trail going down to the water that I don't remember from before so the only thing strenuous would be climbing all the stairs coming back up.

Worth the stop. Easy parking with paved trail to viewing. At viewing there are steps to a better platform view that is a little over 150 stair steps. It's a nice waterfall.
