We stayed at the apartment for a late summer break, and would recommend it if you're looking for a great place in the old town.
The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic quarter of the city. The apartment overlooks a pedestrianised stretch of the Torrearsa on one side, so you can hear the pleasant sound of café/street-life below, and get your morning coffee, breakfast or gelato right there. It's positioned a few minutes from the port and near both intercity and local bus stops – so going on excursions to the nearby islands or getting the bus to and from the airport is really easy. We also took local buses to beaches further out of the old town. The tourist information office is just a few steps away from the apartment, so really handy to pick up maps and transport tips.
The interior was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, as was the sofa in the lounge room. The owners were really friendly and helpful, meeting us to let us in. The apartment building is very well-kept with a lovely stone staircase/lobby area (though I suppose not suitable for someone who has trouble with stairs).
We found local grocery stores nearby and there are plenty of restaurants in the locale. It's also possible to walk to the fish market and surrounding fruit + vegetable stands at the tip of the old town, if you want to buy fresh local produce. We didn't hire a car, so loved having a comfortable and charming base so close to everything!
