Owner description: We provide guided sea kayaking day trips every day form April to the end of October. A typical day involves about 3 hours paddling with 2 long stops for swimming, snorkeling, relaxing and lunch. Trips are planned on a day to day basis, taking into account the wind direction. We have good trips on all sides of the island.

7 paddlers of various ages and experience in sea kayaks on our first visit had a wonderful week. We enjoyed perfect weather fantastic scenery endless caves and turquoise clear water. In six days we saw endless caves cliffs beaches villages and islands all in comfortable kayaks led by Rod who also provided a tasty picnic lunch every day. Petrinela's Guest House was our home for the week and between sightseeing and dining in various Tavernas we had lots of fun. I would love to visit again, really a paddler's paradise loved it

Well what can I say that hasn't already been said countless times before! 2017 was our 3rd consecutive year staying and playing with Sea Kayak Milos. As a family of 4 paddlers (kids now 9 & 13) Sea-Kayak Milos gives us the opportunity to have a fun & chilled time whilst paddling as a family in fabulous conditions from flat calm seas, to swell, waves & wind. Everything though doable and very much down to the professionalism, significant experience & expertise of Rod and the wider team with safety being paramount at all times. The kit provided including boats are brilliant and I loved having the opportunity to try out a Greenland stick (I now have one on order). I don't know how Rod manages it but he is able to bring a group of mixed abilities from novices to seasoned paddlers together with everyone having a fabulous experience suited to their own expectations. What is so special about Sea Kayak Milos though is that it goes way beyond the actually kayaking. Rod's background as a Geologist and his love of Milos shines through as he conveys the rich history of the island and the landscape to paddlers. In addition to paddling there are plentiful opportunities for swimming (water temp 20' in Oct), snorkelling, jumping off rocks, exploring disused mines or just chilling on the beach. The lunches are divine- simple but nourishing and fresh- melon just doesn't taste the same back at home! Sea Kayak Milos really does provide the whole package with a welcoming stay at Petrinela's Guesthouse run by Rod's lovely wife. The breakfast provided is excellent and substantial and Rod takes the opportunity to get the maps out to highlight the planned route for the day over a coffee. It really does feel like paddling amongst friends and all the guides are fabulous. Any downtime can be spent exploring the beautiful island with fabulous walks from the B&B up to the Kastro at Plaka, a Roman amphitheatre, Catacombs and down the Roman road (now a rambling path) to Adamas where a fabulous ice-cream shop awaits you. All in all a wonderful experience and we are booked to return next year and planning an expedition for 2019.

Spent 5 days on the water with Rod, Lynne, Roy, Jeremy et al. Banished a lot of demons for me with huge encouragement from Rod who is hugely experienced. Routes ranged from relaxed to moderately challenging for me but everyone was a great experience. Camaraderie both on the water and back at Petronellas after was just the icing on the cake. A beautiful way to explore and gain/regain confidence on the water.
Great boats and kit. Excellent lunches and wonderful company.

Gosh, what a trip!! 5 eager age+ Finns set out on the most amazing adventure. Spectacular sceneries, different sea states, caves, turtles, goats you name it. Our experienced, sympathetic and very knowledgeable guides Sue and Dave made this a memorable 5 days. We've seen most amazing small churches in the middle of nowhere, hiked up to a lighthouse, walked in abandoned mines. All this under blue skies and with a lot of laughter. We are more than pleased and happy with this trip. As a finish we even got to swim to a sauna cave:)))
Best regards from the Indiana Jones group

Milos from the water is spectacular. Our group contained a mix of skilled and novice paddlers but Rod and his experienced team know how to make you feel in safe hands whilst offering challenge to help you develop your personal paddling....or just to relax and soak it all in. The emphasis is on enjoyment with time to enjoy laughing in waves, sneaking through caves, snorkelling in aquamarine water or jumping off rocks. Rod is knowledgeable about the history, geology and wildlife of the island and knows all the best places to explore. The equipment was great...quality paddles ( Greenland paddles and Euro paddles) and a variety of kayaks including doubles. We stayed for 7 nights in linked accommodation which was clean and comfortable. Petrinela's breakfast buffets set you up for the day's paddling ahead, lunches were delicious. Basically Sea Kayak Milos take care of everything so you don't have to! A brilliant holiday...hope to be back very soon.
