We werent sure what to expect to be honest - but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Karin was an incredible hostess! From the moment we arrived until we left, she catered to our questions and provided a warm and inviting stay. I can't thank her enough!
While you had to go out for dinner each night - we found the adventure into town fun and managed to find some great local restaurants to explore. For breakfast each morning, Karin welcomed us with a great selection of treats to start our day.
Our only recommendation would be to have breakfast start a little earlier (before 8am) as we wanted to get an early start skiing each day. Having a Nespresso machine in the room for an early coffee was a nice touch. But that is really the only comment...
The pool / spa area was excellent to end the day and truly relax.
We will be back one day! Thank you again Karin!

in fact it is more a B&B than a hotel; the breakfast is very good and thy offer you any kind of coffee or thea you like; eggs in different shapes.
Mind this: there is no restaurant; so you have to take the car and dryve about 5 minutes.
The querrellenhof (stake restaurant) is at walking distance

Room tip: you have to log in each time you want to have free wifi; nice living room with free tea and cakes

Thanks for your review and your comment. We are a hotel garni , which means anywhere in the world , a hotel only with breakfast . This was something you unfortunately do not know . 3 restaurants can be reached on foot within 5 to 10 minutes.

The Hotel is placed in a dead-end street, right at the meadows below Zugspitze.
Very clean room and indoor pool.
The breakfast is gorgeous with a lot of fresh products.
Very nice view on the Zugspitze from the balcony.

We had a family room which is made of 2 rooms separated by the bathroom.

Just one thing to take care: if you are to come after 6pm, contact the hotel. Otherwise they will charge your credit card + 3% fee. Which happened to us.

Not a big deal, but better call them upfront.

I strongly recommend, will go there again.

Every thing about this hotel was marvellous.
The service was great - ( nothing was too much trouble! )
Super room - always beautifully serviced by very friendly and efficient staff and always left super clean. The room was very well decorated and beautifull furnished.
Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room by again, very friendly and efficient staff. The choice of food was superb.
Amenities: Lovely lounge with open fire and free wi-fi, beautiful swimming pool and sauna ( lovely mountain view from the pool ). Hotel garden lovely with mountain views.
Location of the Langenfelder Hof is really wonderful, not far from the beautiful village of Grainau and well placed for a visit to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Frau Mecki Zurker who runs the Langenfelder is a really lovely lady - we are definitely coming back!!!!

Our stay was nice and comfortable, but we felt that the price was too high for what this country inn has to offer.
It is situated on the outskirts of a small town, virtually in the middle of nowhere, but right in the shadow of the Zugspitze!
We had a family suite (2 rooms) on the upper floor. No lift. The sloped roof at the attic-level made it very uncomfortable to use the bathroom. Small balcony, which we enjoyed very much.
Had to pay for the Internet.
The pool is good, if you are alone there...
The breakfast was great!
