We took my son and his family (4 grandkids) to the farm for a visit and had a wonderful time. The staff was extra friendly and nice and the butterflies were awesome. It was a truly educational experience as well and good for the kids and adults alike. We also played in the play area and threw the frisbee around a while. We had a nice picnic at a nice covered picnic area. The farm is clean, nice and well organized. Highly recommend you try this.

Visited with our grandkids today, Saturday. $6 entrance fee for everyone allows a short educational demo, which involves kids from the audience. You then wait while they allow small groups into the "flight house" where you are allowed to catch and feed the Monarch butterflies with a sugar pad. While you wait there are a climbing wall, tire toss, slides and a tunnel made from recycled products. There are also benches, port-a-johns, covered picnic area and a small gift shop which sells water. I mention this because I was concerned that there wouldn't be! Young ladies who work here truly love their jobs! Super enthusiastic staff! One thing, Google or mapquest location before going. Little off the beaten path, but owners have done a terrific job establishing a beautiful natural attraction!

This place does a great job getting you up close to the butterflies. They also do a brief educational presentation that involves participants and is quite funny. Large school groups schedule their visits so as not to interfere with the fun of families or tourist groups.

Worth the trip to enjoy this place!
