I will give honest pros and cons about staying here

Pros
- The hotel is really beautiful, and is most definitely a four star hotel as the excellent amenities inside the hotel (spa, indoor pool, breakfast , good WiFi, room service) affirm this. Hotel staff were all very nice and pleasant and made us feel welcome.

- The hotel is very peaceful and tranquil and is definitely ideal if you want to get away from the city centre.

-The continental breakfast was very good and there was lots of choice.

- The hotel is very close to Costa di Capria a very beautiful beach nearby.

Cons
- The location around the hotel was the biggest let down. There is nothing for miles other than a lidi and a restaurant which was substandard. If you want to explore Amora/ Lisbon you most definitely need a car or have extra funds for cab fares (Uber’s do come to this hotel and are a lot cheaper to hail)

- As the hotel is in a very remote location we expected the food options to be more diverse. We found that the options for dinner were very underwhelming and we’d usually end up skipping dinner at the hotel and buying food at lidi.

Overall this is an excellent hotel for travellers who have access to a car or for couples who just want a relaxing holiday. If you do not have access to a car I advise you to stay closer to the city. If I did want another relaxing holiday and I had access to a car I would stay here again.

This hotel is a great compromise between business and beach resort. It is conveniently located on the south bank of the Tagus river, close enough to Lisbon and the beaches of Caparica. The rooms are big and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and well trained and there are all the amenities you would expect from a four star hotel. The swimming pool is small but charming. The decor perhaps a little over the top. Overall a great place to stay for a relaxed visit to Lisbon...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in our recent trip to Spain and Portugal and stayed in room 103.

From the outside view of the hotel, the hotel looks very new and nice, trendy, modern with nice sculptures and decors all round, the lobby, reception, cafe etc. Even in our room, we could "smell" the newness and freshness of the furniture. Well, this is the plus point.

Room was huge, nice and clean, with a glass door, to be opened leading to outside in the open (but this is interlinked among the other rooms next door and could pose a security threat if the door is not locked as someone could come in from the door). Would say its more like a chalet type of room. There is a table and a chair there for one to enjoy the greenery.

The bar is located next to the pool and is nice with a poolview.

Room service was fine and items used were replenished and changed and wifi was complimentary but unstable at times.

As for the minus point areas, that include no provision of kettle or bottles of drinking water, not to mention any tea/coffee sachets. There was not bathtub in the toilet and only 1 power socket available (have to disconnect from the lights to charge the phones etc).

Breakfast was average, standard kinds of food like other hotels but with a smaller spread of items. On the first day, we had our breakfast in the ballroom but on the second day, it was changed to the cafe instead as they were pre-ing the ballroom for some events. Then a strange thing happened, our room door card was unable to access our door when we returned from our breakfast (around 8.15am, before checkout). After trying a few times and in vain, we went to the reception to seek help and it was then re-activated. So strange and the staff was like "huh, er...".

The hotel is located in a residential area, near to a Lidel supermarket, a mere 3 mins walk and next to a petrol station and McDonalds is also within walking distance. So not too bad.

Overall, the stay here was satisfactory but felt that it was overly rated as a 4-star hotel. A more reasonable would be between 3 to 3.5 star hotel.

Very good hotel close to the beach, 5/10m by car. Its really well decorated with an amazing and beautiful outside swimming pool. The Spa area is also really nice. Recommended even for a short stay when you are in Lisbon.
