Weekend getaway with the wifie... so I chose a hotel that wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the cheapest either. When I arrived at the front desk (@ about 6pm) there was another guest standing there waiting to be waited on. After standing there myself for about 5 min. I decided to call out for some help. Finally a young man came around the corner on his cell phone. When he realized this wasn't going to be a quick fix he told the other party on the phone he'd call them back. SMH To keep this from dragging on (because I could go on and on and on), I will just say that this place is more like the motel in "The Florida Project". Well..... maybe not that bad, but it IS more like an apartment complex than it is a hotel. These rooms are advertised as studio efficiency rooms but you have to go to the front desk to get dishes, coffee maker, iron, or anything that's not tied down because people actually stay here for extended periods of time and then apparently wake off with these things. I asked where the continental breakfast was and a staff member pointed to some coffee pots and some pre packaged muffins. Bottom line is... the hallways reached of a curry smell due to someone cooking in their room. You could barely see in or out of the front door it...Weekend getaway with the wifie... so I chose a hotel that wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the cheapest either. There was always someone hanging out in the parking lot. Our room had the smoke detector removed. But our room was clean and comfortable with the exception of a stained comforter. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have nowhere else to go.More
