My family and I visited the Hyatt place on October 14, 2023. Upon check in the staff was very friendly, as an explorist I had request a high floor through the Explorist line. I was told by staff there were no other rooms available and they could not accomadate my request. So I proceeded to my room on the 5th floor. Once in the room I immediately started sprying everything down with lysol. When I pulled the covers back to spray the bed I noticed a bunch of hair on the pillow and sheets. I went back down stairs to complain, I waited 45 minutes while staff attempted to contact housekeeping to rectify this situation. To no avail housekeeping was goine for the day. Mysteriously after complaining I was told they would " upgrade me to a higher floor complimentry." I was provided with another room on the 8th floor, I was perplexed because earlier I was told there were no other rooms available, secondly as an Explorist I am entitled to this. Not to mention they were ready to charge me for bottled water, when I reminded them again as an Explorist I am entilted to free bottled water. To make matters worse my daughter accidently left her airpods in the room upon check out. She tracked them and it showed it was still at the hotel, I called for assistance and asked can someone go check since we had already left. it took them 3 hours to send someone and then they said they could not find them, not realizing the app was still showing the airpods location at the hotel. Later on that evening it showed that airpods had been moved, and that the airpods were now out of it's case. Based on these encounters I would not stay there again, imagine if i didnt pull the sheets back, in addition to staff appropriating my daughter airpods.
