quick summary: wide menu with a lot of choice in mains, pizzas, burger at dinner. Sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and salads at lunch. Friendly, professional service. Comfortable dining room and outdoor terrace in nice weather overlooks the golf course. Reasonable prices.

We stopped in on a cold day when some of Westchester was still suffering from power outages. We had some delicious dinners of veal, steak, and swordfish, which all come with appropriate veges or accompaniements. Mains with veges are mostly in the low-to mid $20's with ribeye, potatoes, and broccoli the most expensive item at $32. We split the generous Fairway salad ($11) with mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, and gorgonzola. not enough room for dessert.

There is also a bar area where you can get dinner. Full bar, and reasonable prices ($8 for a generous pour of decent wine.)

Other people had very good-looking personal pizzas ($11- $12 for a good size). A nearby table said that they always get the roasted half-chicken, served with potatoes and grilled asparagus ($23).

Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

Friendly, professional service.

Very nice atmosphere in the dining room and bar.

I'll definitely want to come back the next time I am visiting family in the area. My family likes coming here.

Some items were very good-the wood fired pizzas and salads especially., Other were OK at best-the cod. One of our party said both it and risotto were lacking taste. Asked for butter twice and it never came. In their defense it was a very busy night with the Bookends band playing

Four us went Saturday night with a reservation. We had to wait at least 25 minutes. First we told we had to wait a few minutes. They we were told they were setting our tables, not true. We got a table after another couple got up to leave. Service was very good. Had to ask for ice a couple of times, but water was refilled constantly. The four of us ordered the fillet mignon and it was excellent as were the mashed potatoes and veggies. We really went there for the band - The Bookends and it turned out to be a win win.
