Super location in the tall trees. Need to locate it in the light on first visit! Everything you needed to self cater was here. Previous guests had left many useful items like ketchup, marinade, pasta & bags of bird feed! The ground floor & deck are both lovely apart from the shower/toilet/wash basin/utility room. We were there in November when it was really cold & I didn't feel encouraged to use the shower, too cold in that area. BBQ on deck was very good. There's one good sized bedroom & one small one with 2 single beds at right angle to each other. Going down to the toilet in the middle of the night on wooden open stairs was nerve racking! Two soft chairs needed replacing & more & better towels required. Bedding could do with up-dating. Personally I would rather see it decorated in a Scandinavian style, more minimalist & white, grey & red, rather than the mish-mash of items & colours at present. After saying that, it was very comfortable & had all of the facilities needed. My son loves it & the peace of no technology where he can be called. The birds are a wonderful attraction. They are so cheeky & knock on the window if they see you come in & don't feed them!
I stayed here in 2001 and was so pleased it’s still available and just as good. Very peaceful, great facilities. The balcony for breakfast is a standout.
A beautiful little tidy cabin that looks quaint from the outside but is rather modern and spacious on the inside.
Stepping out on the the balcony is to enter a serene forest surrounded by beautiful 28's, pink galahs, magpies and kookaburras that sit on the perch with you.
Only a short 5 minute drive or so from the town centre of Denmark but you could honestly spend your entire trip at the cabin and still have a great time..
Will definitely be back.
Staircase to HEAVEN.......even the cleaner Sue said she didn't go up there......
Make your own bed up there in heaven if you need it cos she won't!
Towels were bleached and tatty,
Potential to be a fab place but unfortunately it's dark and cluttered
located not far from the heart of town, this little cottage is self contained and has a lovely deck out back amongst the tree tops to enjoy the bird life. It's in a quiet location.
The loft bed is not for the faint hearted or the bladder weary, as it is about a 8ft climb straight up, which shares the master bedroom. The Owners where fabulous,
when I lost part of my coffee machine, in finding it and sending it back by mail..
would definitely stay again...
