Family owned restaurant, very friendly.
Food was exquisite: from the starters to the mains till the desserts!
We recommend all what we ate! :)
Fritto misto
Polpo alla griglia
Paccheri alla Nerano
Tagliatelle al nero di seppia
We tried ALL the desserts and we loved them!
Only issue we had was for the payment as the card machine was not working.

What a lovely surprise, after experiencing the crowd and the luxury shops everywhere in Capri island ! This restaurant is a little and quiet paradise hidden in the pine trees, above Anacapri. The guest picks you up and takes you there for free. The view on the sea is beautiful, and the food really excelllent (we tasted the fish, perfectly cooked and served). Excellent address for an unusual occasion. Personnally, I would come back there anytime if I could...

The view is fantastic and the food is good...but this restaurant is a ripoff! We only had a few appetizers and some grilled fish, but the check was insane.

The staff was ok...but they didn't even offer us a "limoncello" at the end of the dinner (as instead it's very common in good Italian restaurants). We had to pay that as well (and it was also super expensive).

This restaurant is a proper hidden secret in Anacapri. You can only get there by car, but that is actually fine as you can get a free shuttle to pick you up and also bring you back to your own place after dinner. It's run by a local family, the food is great and the location very romantic. It's a place worth trying.

I rarely write reviews. I got sidetracked by so many positive reviews for this really bad restaurant that I really feel I have to share my experience. Don't, don't, don't waist your time on Capri eating here! We're foodies but we don't enjoy pretentious overpriced restaurants, we prefer to eat home-made simple food with fresh ingredients in relaxed setting. This is why I was attracted to this restaurants, amazing reviews made it sound like that. Remote location near Faro was also tempting -- we really wanted to escape the fancy crowds in Capri and pretentious restaurants on that side of the island. So we gave it a try. And it was total disaster! Perhaps it is better during the daylight when the view is there. But ambience in the evening was totally awful -- fake plastic flowers, cheep tablecloths, overly lit space and some bad radio music. The restaurant is so ugly! There were perhaps only three or four more tables taken, so it was rather empty and everyone else was having pizza! I ordered caponata, which came microwaved and dry, poorly prepared. My partner had caprese pasta, the filling was gummy cheese, it didn't feel special in any way but it was not too bad. House wine was 25 EUR / bottle and was really worth 5 EUR the most -- the cheep vino from grocery stores. Olive oil we got for our salad was the cheapest commercial kind from the grocery stores.
I doubt we would ever gave it a try haven't we had amazing dinner at agroturismo Da Gelsomina the night before. Given the reviews, this place made us believe it is similar -- home-made simple food in relaxed ambiance, family run restaurants. And it is really not. There are so many fantastic restaurants on Island of Capri, there is no reason to waist your night here if you are serious about food and if you (somewhat) care about style. At the end of the day, our dinner was 80 EUR, which is far too much for what is was (pasta, appetiser, salad and house wine).
