We visited the Changuu island in January 2018. We took a small boat from Stone town to Changuu island beach.
The must to visit is the sanctuary for giant tortoises, which is located in a small pine trees forest. Some of these tortoises are older than 100 years old (and have been offered in 1919 by the governor of Seychelles)!!! Moreover, there is a nursery for baby tortoises, where we can see babies tortoise of different ages!!!
A very interesting visit!!! Highly recommended for families with kids.
From Changuu island, we also have a wonderful view on Stone town and Zanzibar bay and surrounding islands.

A dark history juxtaposed by long shorelines of beautiful beaches. However, the tortoises stole the show. They were the highlight of the island.

A bit touristy but as one of the last places on earth to see giant tortoises, well worth it. Take your camera!
