This place is perfect for entire families or a beer and hotdog dinner. The level of play is indicative of the teams' status as a waiting room for the majors. A lot of things for kids to do and many menu choices. Parking is mostly hastlefree

We got together on Friday evening 6/15/18 for Father's Day with my son's family. We went to the Tri City Valley Cats game at Joe Bruno Stadium. We had easily purchased tickets online. Sell out crowd & HVCC construction disrupted parking but only slightly. Local band was playing before hand at the entrance. Good seating. All seating has good sight lines. Seating capacity 4,500. This team was the NY-Penn League champions in 2018. This is a short season A league affiliate for MLB's Houston Astros. Every home game has a promotion, field activities for children, contests between innings, and assorted other kid-friendly activities and the team's mascot, a cat named Southpaw. Food and drink are very reasonable ex hot dog & beer $7.00. There are better than average choices ex sausage & pepper sandwiches and a selection of local craft beers. There is also a covered picnic area that can be reserved for catered corporate events on the first base side outfield. The best deal for weekday evening games is the Family Four Pack. Four admissions, four programs, four hot dogs, & four sodas only $40.00, cheaper than the movies. And post game fireworks. Clean, safe restrooms. Plenty of helpful staff. Good marketing locally. A recommended experience. And as the say at the stadium "Vamos Gatos".

We booked a party on the Porch Pavilion which came with an all you can eat buffet for the entire game. Now granted it was basic baseball fare however tasty and very plentiful. The mac n cheese and Buffalo Chicken salad were a great added touch. The buffet came with burger and pulled pork sliders, mini hot dogs and cut watermelon as well. For about $30.00 per person including a game ticket and Valley cat baseball cap this may be the deal of the summer. Our waiter and waitress were also friendly and fun as well.

Ended up not being able to see a game because the field couldn't be dried out. Management kept updating everyone, though, and the crowd still had a good time.
Everyone very polite. Great family atmosphere. The players came out and were playing frisbee and tossing balls and t-shirts to the crowd while waiting. Food was better quality than I expected at a local ballpark. Parking is easy and plentiful.

My husband and I attended a Vermont Lake Monsters vs. Tri City Valley Cats game at Joe Bruno Stadium and had a wonderful time! We were able to purchase great seats (behind the plate) for a very reasonable price but can say there doesn't appear to be a bad seat in the park as you can see the field very well from throughout the stadium. We were extremely impressed with the food options, the misting tent and the design of the stadium and concourse. Everything was well lit and very comfortable. What an impressive stadium! The only thing that we found surprising was the condition of the restrooms. We were surprised at the small number of stalls in the women's room considering the number of people who can attend the game.
