Superb falafel, made fresh with top quality ingredients. The right balance of complex spices, the perfect texture. Salads are varied and interesting, especially a cabbage with sumac. You can taste the organic chickpeas. They have a very limited menu but their hummus, served in a way that reminded me of Damascus before the fall, is also outstanding. It is true that their fresh pita bread, excellent by American standards, does not match the lighter thinner sort you can get in Beirut or Jerusalem, but they can also prepare plates with different mixtures of falafel, hummus, salads, bread etc. Service is quick and cheerful. Definitely something to not miss. Sadly, they are only open for lunch, though they have a stand in the mornings in the Rhinebeck summer market.
