We stayed at this motel for one night with our daughter and her boyfriend after they went to see Weezer at the Times Union Arena Center in downtown Albany. We needed an inexpensive hotel with 3 beds, and this fit the bill excellently. We were given a room with one king bed and 2 double beds - an oddity these days at the rate we got, most rooms with 3 beds at other hotels are suites which go for much more per night.
Very clean and well appointed room, with a fridge, microwave, TV, etc - everything you need.
A spartan continental breakfast was offered, with 2 types of cereal, coffee, juice, bagels, pastries.
Only 5 minutes from downtown Albany, SO close and much better than paying high prices to stay in the city.
Highly recommended....

It was a nice and clean place to stay. The price was great i can't believe i got a room there at a great price and it was clean. If you are on the Harrisburg area and are looking for a room i would stay at the capital inn.

Excellent location for temporary 'survival' location. Excellent environment. Clean facility. 1.5 miles from Price Chopper, 1 mile from Rite Aide, Dollar Stores and other facilities. Bus services are very good to malls and into Albany. Pricing is good and overall with Police facilities nearby, place is safe!
Room tip: Overnight quickies : front area.. longer stay with bigger facilities and beds back area.

My husband read reviews from bookit.com; they were very misleading. Very clean? By those standards?? The bedspread had stains and there were hand prints all over the room. The door didn’t have a safety lock or a do not disturb sign, and the rooms were not sound proof. Additionally, They wouldn’t give us our AAA or AARP discount.
Lesson learned - my husband won’t believe those bookit reviews again. Next time he’ll book a place that has a well known name and check out trip advisor!!

Pros: we used this hotel as quick over night . We were family of 5. Room had one king bed and 2 double beds. Spacious enough . We paid $128 for a night . Friendly host when called upon .
Cons: Room was on 2nd floor and no elevators. Very very musty and unusual and bad smell in the hallways . Not clean rooms . Very standard and basic room . Below standard breakfast , only cereal and bagel option. Breakfast location is very bad . It is actually located in the reception area .

The room we had was the Jacuzzi Suite. It was great. Clean and well worth the money. Similar rooms at different hotels in the area cost about $50-60 more per night. Couch with a pull out bed was in the room along with a desk and chair. Beautiful hard wood floors and King sized bed. Larger sized bathroom with large counter. Quiet throughout the whole night and all morning. Breakfast in the morning was delicious fresh everything. Endless orange juice and apple juice.
