Owner description: Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard's winery & tasting room is situated on a 17 acre vineyard in the North Fork of Long Island NY. Our address is 1375 Peconic Lane, Peconic. Our tasting room & winery is located in an historic barn circa 1900's. This casual and rustic setting is a great place to start your wine appreciation. Through education and our hands on approach, is what makes our winery a perfect spot to enjoy on the wine trail. We have many Estate wines to choose from cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Merlot, and Chardonnay. Our tasting room is open Thursday-Monday see website for hours. Groups larger than 6 MUST make a reservation due to our limited space. Tours and Classes are also available. Please visit our web site for dates & times.

When we travel to the are am we always make it a point to stop at Sannino for a glass of wine, some cheese and crackers, and a lovely view of the vineyard from the outdoor seating area. Great wine, this year the syrah was the pick if the reds, although the cab sav was a close second. Staff always knowledgeable and helpful. Always on our list of paces to visit

We went to take a wine blending class. It was excellent. The wines were amazing the class was great we learned alot. I have never been to a vineyard where we tasted five wines and like 5 wines. The people were super nice. Owner on hand and taught class. Very kind, very passionate about what he does. I highly recommend.

We stopped at Sannino for a tasting we got through Groupon. The wines were excellent and the inside bar was cozy andiinviting. There is also tables and chairs out in the vineyard to enjoy on a nice day

Since this establishment received top ratings on Trip Advisor, we gave it a try. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed.

While the rustic interior was very warm and homey, and the staff were very friendly, the wines just weren't very good...most of them were quite bitter. However, I did enjoy the Cab Franc...the sweet aftertaste was very pleasant! I also did not like the presentation; the wines were all served at once (similar to a beer tasting), which likely contributed to some of the taste issues (ie a chilled wine not being cold upon tasting).

Great Cab Franc, but overall disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to review our business. We're glad that you enjoyed our cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, but we are sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations. Many of our wines have received awards regionally. We now have fifteen wines on our menu, many of which are new vintages and varietals, & we would love to offer you a complimentary wine tasting. We find that most guests enjoy our comparative tasting, but if our serving style does not suit you, we would be happy to make accommodations.

My husband and I took the Wine Blending class taught by owner Anthony Sannino. His passion for the craft and knowledge he shared were the highlight of our day. We’ve been on many winery tours and tastings in US and Europe and still learned a huge amount about the process from the vine to the glass. Also having the opportunity to blend, cork and label our own bottle gave us a new appreciation for what goes into making a bottle of wine. (As an aside we loved their Petit Verdot.). Can’t wait to see how they grow with the build of their new tasting room.
