Long day of snowmobiling. Easy courteous, check-in. The room was clean. WIFI didn't connect at our end unit where we parked our sleds outside our door. All I wanted was a hot shower, and I got the best one ever. The water pressure was unreal. There aren't any hot tubs in the Adirondacks, but that shower is the next best thing.
Good price. Clean room comfortable beds. No service while we stayed. ( do to COVID-19). Ample towels , as needed. Pretty quiet around the area. View out back was of a golf course . A few negatives though. Could be fixed easily need new electric plugs new outlets are cheap and easy replacement. Weak WiFi. But happy with our stay
We stayed in what was called a "deluxe room". We booked here based on user reviews, big mistake! First, the air conditioner didn't work and the manager told us to be patient and our room would cool off once the sun went down. Second, the refrigerator froze everything even when set on lowest setting. Third, there were no outlets to charge phones, computers, etc. They were all located behind the large furniture. Fourth, motel is no smoking, but people stand outside their doors and smoke and the smoke makes its' way into the rooms. Fifth, there was a sliding glass door to the outside seating area, but we couldn't use ours because the screen wouldn't budge. The curtains could not be opened either. Sixth, I can't imagine that this place passed any sort of electrical or fire inspection. There were extension cords running everywhere. Would be dangerous if a child was staying in room because extension cords ran up and down the walls and all across the bottom of the walls. There were pieces of wallpaper torn off the walls. I think that this is the worse motel that we have ever stayed in!
We spent a few nights at the Country Club motel getting into the mountains and away from it all during this crazy pandemic. Property was well maintained and room was very clean. It seemed like mgmt. has a nice system to limit exposure with guests and keep everyone satisfied. You check in at the office window without ever stepping in. The staff stocks the room with towels and amenities for the full length of your stay, but will bring whatever you need upon request. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Considering the challenges they (and everyone in the hospitality business) are facing, we thought they were doing a great job! We felt safe and comfortable. The only criticism I have with our stay is both chairs in our room were broken, the backs of each, making it very difficult to sit back in the chair. Really feel broken furniture needs to be swapped out. Otherwise, great stay.
We took the less expensive room for 3 nights. More exp rooms faced the swimming pool, ours faced the road. Room was an acceptable size but had too much furniture so felt small. Beds were comfortable, a big plus. Room was very cold. Couldn't turn the temperature dial on the ac. Finally unplugged the unit! Swimming pool was nice but needs some work. Curtains on small back window came completely off the rod when I tried opening them. Interaction with staff was brief and pleasant upon check in. Free Wi-Fi worked fairly well in the room. Did not work when sitting outside by the front door. I'll try a different spot for my next stay.
