There's just something about those tomatoes in Greece that makes gyros taste better! The gyros here are no exception, and the tzatziki was perfect on a warm day. We ordered both a pork and a chicken gyro, and both were tender and flavorful. These came with fries inside, which seem to be a 50-50 split on gyros we ordered in Greece. I personally like a more traditional approach, but the fries were super tasty no matter your preference.
For an appetizer we tried the halmoui, which is a harder greek cheese grilled, with a drizzle of pesto.
The high ratings on this cute walk up made for a bit of a wait, so either plan to take your pita and go find a spot to eat on the go, or you can wait for a table, and they will take your order from the cute little patio with a view. We opted for the latter, and the wait was maybe 15-20 minutes at a peak time. We grabbed a beveridge and relaxed nearby until we were called. Afterall, it is Greece, and relaxing is the entire point!
One thing I was extremely thankful for was the well kept restroom, which is always a nice surprise when you open that door in restaurants throughout the country!
