Nice size room and bathroom. Bathroom is a little old looking but ok. Had fridge, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Free parking. Comfortable beds. I believe there was an ice machine on every floor. We were pleasantly surprised as this was the first time we were at a sleep inn. All in all... We were very pleased. We used points. The amount was very reasonable.
We picked this hotel because it was easy access off the freeway during our road trip farther south. As soon as we drove up I regretted picking this place. There were way too many people loitering around in the parking lot, sitting on cars, smoking, etc. Some were smoking right by the front door so it stunk inside. The hotel was dirty, not just dirty but filthy. The floors in the elevator were sticky with something and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The beds were just okay, and the breakfast was a sorry excuse for food, even if it was free. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
We were in town for my wife’s birthday and decided to book the King Suite with the Jacuzzi as a nice treat. Especially since she has worked hard fighting as a nurse during these crazy times.
We were very disappointed to find that the jacuzzi drain was inoperable and that the water would slowly drain out unless someone held it down. We tried to make the best of it and just held it down. Then we went to push the button for the jets. Big mistake! Once we pushed it, TONS of crap, paint chip, and bugs came out of it and we immediately jumped out and showered.
As far as COVID goes, I don’t think they are taking precautions very well. We wiped down our room with wipes and spray but in common areas there were lots of folks not wearing masks, people using the indoor pool whenever, and breakfast area is fully operational. I know other chains are taking it more seriously.
I guess this is what you get from a Choice Hotel!
Decent, clean hotel in upstate new york. Stayed here while attending a wedding and overall had a nice stay.
Room was spacious and clean. The bed wasnt bad either.
The hotel overall had a complementary continental breakfast which was decent. French toast sticks were great lol.
Gym was small and pool looked ok.
Overall not a bad stay if ur visiting.
This is my second time staying here and both times I’ve came here the front desk Lady’s have been awesome. Teresa went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had a great stay. Rooms are nice , hotels clean, and the jacuzzi is great. Overall great experience. Again, thank you Teresa, you deserve a raise!
