Stopped in from out of town for a cup of coffee and a Danish 7pm May 25th. While I was making my coffee at creamer stand I watched a girl sweeping the floor and collecting it in the dust pan with handle. She grabbed the dustpan with both hands and dumped it into the garbage and someone called her from the kitchen. She said hold on I'll be right there put the broom and dustpan down, and then walked up to the window and started grabbing the plates and walking over and handing them to the people at their table. Did not have gloves on and never did stop to wash her hands. 😬.

I like Panera bread, I go to them no matter what town I am in. And I am sure this is an isolated incident. But I found that to be a little bit disturbing that they would call somebody that is actually cleaning the floors to come and grab people's food from the kitchen window and bring it to tables.

1/ staff a little better for the afternoon shift.

2/ require your servers to wear plastic gloves.

My companion had the broccoli and cheddar soup with a melted cheese sandwich. It was drool-worthy! I had a Southwestern Salad. Both our meals were excellent. We topped off our visit by picking up pastries from the bakery, before we left!

Met friends here for a lunch hour. Attendants were very friendly and eager to please. You can order yourself using a kiosk or go to the counter. Either way they deliver your food to your table.
I like the option of pick 2. Half a sandwich and a bowl of broccoli cheddar for me. I had the regular grilled cheese on cranberry walnut bread! They even had caffeine free Diet Coke available.
The only issue might be parking. Smaller parking lot for a Panera.
BUT THEY HAVE A DRIVE THRU!!

Panera is Panera. This Panera offers excellent service, with an obvious desire to make sure the customer is happy.

It took forever to take our order. The cashier did no have a clue. We had 2 new gift cards which did not take. It finally took after multiple tries. My wife's soup was ice cold when she received it. When she told them about it, they pointed her over to the microwave and told her that she could heat it up.
