I have been going to Nanola since they opened their doors and always enjoyed the food. However over the past couple of years the place has become more of a club than restaurant. They do have top notch music acts and really pack them in at night. The downside of that is he restaurant has become just mediocre. In the past month or so I had an average at most burger and my recent Sausage Po Boy was just a gooey mess that tasted of little other than the sauce. The roll is key to a Po Boy and this one just had no substance to support the juicy sandwich. Sweet Potato fries were on point. The beer selection at Nanola is outstanding although tilts a little too much in the direction of the trendy IPA market but that is just a personal opinion backed by only a few. I believe there are 24 beers on tap so there is plenty to choose from. The service in the afternoon and early evening is outstanding at the bar, as it fills late it can be hectic and unorganized. This is still a great establishment but they have morphed to a night spot over being a restaurant and it is getting dated in the atmosphere. Behind the bar was once a very classy display and now sort of hodge podge.
