My wife and I found this little Cajun hideaway on route 9 in Malta, NY. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Ms. Jacqueline was very pleasant and suggested the special: Monday is “Taco night” and we found them to be on point..!

The shells were fried and the meat (Chicken or Beef) was seasoned to perfection. They were all made to order and had plenty of choices of toppings.

We found the menu to very simple and of good variety. The location was good and plenty of seating inside or out. Besides..... How can you go wrong with a Dollar taco...?

My husband had heard how good the food was and the beer. Well that was true the oysters were delicious. No one told us the service was not so great. We ordered our dinners. Our waiter came back and said the dinner special my husband order was sold out. He ordered another dinner. My dinner came out but not his. When I asked they said the kitchen is very busy. And they didn't want mine to get cold. Bad excuse. The order was screwed up and we couldn't even eat at the same time. I hate excuses. Turned me off. The table should be served at the same time. Not a great dining experience.

Great restaurant to go to for a dinner and stay until the music comes on!!! An interesting menus with several vegetarian options. Close to the outdoor drive in movie and the race track.

Only Cajun food place in the area. 1 1/2 mile from exit 12 on rt 9
I have tried this place a few times. The food is normally good but has some delays in service. Does a lot for charity. Entertainment on weekends. Trivia on Tuesdays.

After reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisors I was not sure what to expect. Yes the restaurant is a tavern with loud music, so if that is not you, don't go. The food was better then I expected. Six of us went and the entrees ranged from the Cajun combo to the waffle sandwiches. I had the jambalaya and I would recommend that to order. It was very spicy the way I like it and it did not need additional sauce.My son had the Cajun combo with catfish and that was very good. I believe all six of us was happy with the food. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 rating is because our server seemed to vanish once and a while. When it came time to pay we could not find him.
