Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Stopped in on a Saturday night nice crowd. Had a band starting at 8. Decent- we had the flatbread shrimp pizza and catfish po-boy. The pizza came with a chowder it was very good. Pizza was decent. The fried Catfish had a kick to it. Nice- we will be back.

With a type of restaurant like Nanola, you expect out of the ordinary. I was impressed by their food choices, but more to my amazement was the types of beers the had on draft.

I ordered a Muffuletta with sweet potato fries. I also ordered one togo to bring home for my family. I was extremely satisfied with my sandwich that I had in the restaurant, but the one that I had taken home was made with a very spicy jalepeno bread. I cant do spicy and neither can my family. Something should have been said by the staff. I would have chosen something else.

The live music was good though and outside. The I think outside should have been a little better lighted. Maybe the fire posts stay on the deck, but lighting be in the grass down below. I had to use my phone light to read the menu..

Our first trip to this restaurant which is fairly popular in the Saratoga, NY area. Apps were fair . Boneless wings which can be had at any restaurant and would be just as good. My wife had fried mozzarella which are apparently made on premises and were excellent. Wife also had a burger which was quite good. I had jambalaya which was terrible! For a Cajun restaurant this dish was very disappointing. No smokey flavor what so ever! There was a sauce in it that looked like a spaghetti sauce. Jambalaya is a dish that should be simmered for quite a few hours and would have a darker brown color. This dish was as though it was just thrown together. Again jambalaya should have a SMOKEY flavor! I doubt I would ever go back. I've had better jambalaya from a can!

Great addition to malta! Good restaurant ! Great staff and a awesome owner! A must stop for casual dining and also provides lots of live entertainment! The bar offers almost every craft beer and also makes great drinks with a happy hour everyday! Recommend it highly!!

I have not written about Nanola since I think January. So much has changed and in a positive way. The owner Shane is very innovated and loves building his business. He has added an incredible deck and fire pit along with volleyball courts and I hear maybe horseshoe pits to follow. The entertainment and theme nights are also a great deal of fun. Most of all though back to the food and service. The new chef Daniel has done a great job with the standard menu and does excellent with his daily lunch and dinner specials as well, always something tasty in the offerings.
He has also been known to put together custom requests if he has the ingredients on hand and does it perfectly like my Cuban Sandwich, awesome job. All that said the place has never lost its quest for great service. We usually eat at the bar and Adrianna and Jessica never stop smiling and take the time to make sure your visit is the best. Connor is an awesome guy who can answer virtually any question you have, as well as many of the other great people working there. When I first starting going there I thought what a nice addition to the Malta community, now I say what a wonderful casual experience for the whole area to enjoy. Come one and come all but please leave us a couple seats. You will never be disappointed at Nanola.
