Stress free and friendly staff. Clean rooms and overall very good customer service. I'm here for work. There are many eating options close by. There is convenient public transportation and driver service. The amenities are great. The rooms are comfortable.

Stayed at this hotel for a month. Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It was a home away from home! If you come visit the bar lounge. Carmen was amazing and made excellent cocktails and also food! Everyone was wonderful and welcoming. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. . Thank you all that made my stay so wonderful at long Island city courtyard.

I´m going to update this review as soon as I hear back from the hotel as there were some good aspects to my stay, however the overall experience was affected badly by the mix up with my booking, which the hotel cancelled without informing me. I made the booking months in advance through a third party and this was confirmed and I had paid in full. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that my reservation was cancelled. After an international flight and being quite exhausted, I didn´t have much choice than to pay again and was annoyed to see it was for a much higher rate, no consideration was given to the fact that I had already booked and paid the third party. I received no assistance in contacting the third party to find out what had happened. Once I did finally manage to connect with the third party via an international call at considerable expense to myself, I found out the error was with the hotel. When I mentioned this to the staff member on reception I was informed I should have contacted the hotel myself earlier. Not something I have ever had to do with any confirmed booking I have had before with the same third party service. I have contacted the hotel to discuss how we can resolve this issue but have not heard back in over a week so at this time I cannot leave a positive review. I will be happy to update this if they contact me in the future.

Courtyard was a great choice for attending the US Open. The staff members are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a reasonable size and clean, but on the smaller size. We were a family group of 4 in a 2 queen room, and it was big enough. Beds were so-so (not up to Marriott standards in my opinion) The bathroom is small and has small pantry-style double doors to save space. The bathroom was spotless with the exception of some mold in the grout. Housekeeping was every other day and that was fine. We used the app to ask for more towels and a friendly staff member delivered them promptly. There is a nice, convenient 24 hour market next to the hotel, and some restaurants and bars nearby (and many of them close around 9:00pm). There is a subway stop about 4 blocks away, easy walk, with access to the 7, a local train out to Mets stadium and the US Open in about 30 to 40 minutes. We’d definitely stay here again for a Mets game or the US Open.

I have use this Courtyard by Marriott for over 8 years and I consider it the only place I would stay in New York. The Staff is awesome! The rooms ALWAYS clean. You are very close to the subways and buses. You can get to almost anywhere from this location. Over the past 8 years I have spend an average 60 to 70 nights and can not think of one time where there was any issues. You can't go wrong staying here.
