This is my second time staying at the this hotel and once again it didn't disappoint. The staff was super friendly, the food is amazing and it's conveniently located near the subway train station and the buses for transportation for going to the city. I love my experience here and I will definitely be coming back for my vacation next year.

We had a superb stay @Boro. We had the double room which was very spacious. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. I love the ambience in the hotel.
The possibility for breakfast and lunch/diner @Beebe's was very much appreciated...it's nice to be able to rewind after a busy day in the city.

Recently, my partner and I stayed at the BORO Hotel in Queens at pretty much the going rate of close to $500 a night. The room could charitably be described as a bunker with amenities, including an unsecured sliding glass door to an unsecured balcony which provided the only possibility of fresh air. For almost the entirety of our stay that night, there was a loud all-night party being held. The cinder-block wall not only did not muffle the voices of screeching partyers, it seemed to magnify the noise. Our attempts to ask the front desk to have security restore enough quiet for a decent night's sleep were about as effective as the walls.
The following morning, we sought out a manager in order to file a complaint and ask for a refund for the room because the hotel had failed in its duty to "provide the conditions for a decent night's sleep." There was no manager on the premises, and the assistant positioned behind the picnic table cum front desk informed us that we had a valid complaint and would be contacted by a manager later that day. 2 months later, we've yet to hear back from BORO Hotel.
BORO was quite happy to take my money and run away from their responsibility!

A quirky exterior makes this an easy to spot landmark in the Dutch Kills neighborhood. I found it easy to walk to different subway stops. Everyone who worked for the hotel was extra nice. Little quirks inside included no drawers in the room and limited hanging space. A quick request at the entrance desk gave us anything else we needed. Iron and board, ice, hanging rack, or refrigerator. The room was simple, with every amenity available.

Great rooms with a beautiful view on the balcony, and the service was excellent. Helpful, quick, and to the point. Zafira did a great job at the front desk handling last minute changes for me. Would recommend for anyone visiting the city for work or vacation!
