Great views and comfortable space. Bed was extremely loud and made noise at the slightest movement. No fridge in the room. Room wasn't clean when requested. Rooftop bar was nice and the bartender was excellent.

There are TONS of hotel options in Long Island City, but whenever I need to stay close to work, I choose the Boro hotel. The staff are great, Beebe's restaurant is amazing and the room is always sparkling clean. This is about the 5th time I've stayed here. There was only 1 blunder during my stay this time: I didn't get my 5:30 wakeup call, but I had an alarm set, so I was fine. I would highly recommend the Boro to anyone.

I've now stayed here 5 times. I'm a groupie. But it's better than paying out the nose to be 15 minutes away in Manhattan in a tiny room. The rooms are a good size and have balconies, and if you can get a view of the city, it's really something to see. The restaurant Beebe's is excellent. It's seriously high level pizzas and salads that they are know for, but the salmon and meatballs and burger never disappoint. I ordered the salmon on a kale ceasar for room service and it was perfect. The restaurant has a great outdoor space. They have a well curated wine selection too, and some very nice cocktails with unique ingredients. There's also a roof bar! The place is a gem, and you just hop on the metro or take a cab and Manhattan is all yours.
