Accommodation: beds, rooms, lounge comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is included, there was a good selection, only we disliked the plastic cutlery. The best quality for the price in NY compared to other hotels nearer Manhattan. Hotel situated very near the subway.

Well run hotel in all areas frontdesk, housekeeping, service etc. Location very convenient to train should you wish to travel to the city. Laundry and convenient store across the street. Would recommend for a visit

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel had a wonderfully friendly and polite and staff. For example, Bella was incredibly helpful and accommodating to me when I was checking in. I also was locked out, and the issue was immediately resolved by the two gentlemen at the reception downstairs (didn't take note of their names though). I also called for a new iron, and got it super quick. Overall, the staff was excellent and did a great job.
My room was really clean, and overall felt brand new and fresh - like it was recently built. My room (which was on the 13th floor) had a beautiful view of the Long Island City - and I assume that if you get the north-facing side, you'll probably have the view of the Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. The hotel is also pretty conveniently located (in my opinion) - 15 minute walk to Queensboro Plaza subway station if you want to visit Manhattan or Times Square.
The area where the hotel is located - Dutch Kills - seems like an industrial-ish area - so the streets just a couple of blocks away are definitely not clean (although, people in New York seem to leave trash on the streets anyway - which is somewhat bizarre). The local authorities should really do something about this.
The breakfast was very nice in my view. But beyond the breakfast, the best part is that you can go downstairs and get tea or coffee any time of the day. This really helped me when I was working late at night.
Overall, a great clean conveniently-located hotel with breakfast and a great staff.

We spent 9 nights in this hotel and I must say that everything was perfect. My girlfriend and I had a great time and we also became attached to our room. Spacious room with a nice light, cleaning done every day, after the third from our arrival (as soon as we arrived they even gave us a flyer where it was specified). Great breakfast, and only 3/4 minutes from the F subway stop that takes you to Manhattan in very few minutes.
I've read reviews that say the neighborhood is not safe, we never had any problems even coming back with the subway at night, around midnight. Maybe the neighborhood is not the nicest but it is fine.

Had the opportunity to stay a few nights at this Long Island City Gem for a long weekend
Check in was super fast & easy
Staff went out of their way to accommodate & make sure my wife and I felt welcomed especially Jose.
We loved that the hotel was conveniently close to the trains we were a hop jump & a skip away from The City.
Definitely enjoyed the continental breakfast they had everything we enjoy to eat.
Our room was cozy, we had an amazing view of The City Skyline which is so nostalgic.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for the following reasons
