Was working nearby one weekend and decided to stay here instead of taking the subway home late at night, and this was a good choice.
Located within walking distance to several subway stations and dinning options. The area was quiet and deserted at night, but felt generally safe.
The lobby was small but efficient. The staff was nice, warm and professional. The room, like the lobby, was also small, but it was fine for a short stay. The bed was a bit on the firm side, but otherwise comfy. The window looked out onto the on/off-ramp for the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, so definitely nothing to write home about. For breakfast, there was a grab bag that consisted of a yogurt and a bakery item. It's a nice alternative during these times than providing nothing at all.
Overall I had a nice stay. I wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I'm working in the neighborhood.
