We were a little weary of where we were staying. Took some finding initially but is close to subway. Friendly helpful staff and breakfast was a set up for the day!! Not the ritz but neither was the price! It was adequate for a nights sleep, clean comfy beds with fresh towels too. Complimentary soaps etc. Room does have tea making facilities and a fridge although we didn’t use them

We needed a place in Queens when an emergency came up and luckily we found this place. The staff was incredibly helpful and made check in and out a breeze. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Our room was below ground level so it made for an odd placement of the AC unit but nothing that would complain about. We were right next to the ice machine but there was no noise issue. The internet was a little spotty and slow at time but we were able to stream Netflix without issues for the most part. The complimentary breakfast was nice with a decent selection of hot and cold options. There is a fitness center but we didn't use it. The one issue some may have with this location is the parking. The hotel is situated on a busy corner which can make getting in and out of the parking areas a little tricky. Also, the parking is extremely limited with a few spots in front of the hotel and a few around back. Parking is first come first serve and luckily we were able to nab a couple of spots around the back of the building. There is a 7-11 next to the hotel if you don't feel like venturing too far for a snack. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Ants in our bathroom, key card and door opening issues left us stranded in the hallway twice. Elevator sounded like it would break at any moment hadn’t been serviced in the last so many years. Room right beside the subway.

After flying for over 30 hours to reach Auckland we didn’t make any concrete plans prior to our sailing. Auckland did not have many activities that I found compelling except for this lovely almost all day tour of 3 wineries plus yummy cheese. Book it a day in advance since they were already sold out at the pier. It was a relaxing day with beautiful scenery and a knowledgeable tour guide/driver. The ferry brings you back to the vibe area which has many good and fun restaurants on the water. Auckland is a safe and easy town to walk except if you can’t climb steep hills.

My daughter got married and my father came from Florida. I came from upstate NY. I booked this hotel and I have to say i was very pleased! The man who checked is into our room was very helpful. He was great with letting us know where we could get the subway,where we could find good food to eat within walking distance. Let us know there is a 7-11 behind the hotel (it literally is a hop, jump and skip away). Our room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for three nights for less than $300.00. You can find almost anything you need in the neighborhood. My daughter was in close proximity to the hotel which was great for us! We parked in front of the hotel in the parking lot and they do not charge you for parking which is great. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit the children. Was a great place to stay!
