Do not get turned off by the appearance. Another reviewer described this place as a Brooklyn-hipster hangout. This maybe somewhat true but a suburban Westchester couple in their seventies really liked it! We stopped by on a hot sunny summer"s day (not when all the leaves were brown and the sky was grey!) for a quick lunch. Sat at the bar (even walked around the grounds til we felt at home). The owner was busy with his leather workshop. The place was cool and air conditioned even though the entrance garage door was opened. The bartender was very nice, attentive and from Switzerland which added a nice touch. We ordered a ham and swiss sandwich and were expecting a major disappointment. It was fantastic even took some home for the trip. The iced coffee hit the spot. Wonderful place if you appreciate good beer. Must be great at night! We highly recommend this spot even if you are not a hipster from Brooklyn.
