I just had another enjoyable visit to The Brewery of Broken Dreams in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of NY. This is a must stop for beer lovers even though it's nestled in the heart of wine country. The small intimate tasting room is always enjoyable along with the knowledgeable staff.

The assortment of beer styles is always impressive from the Pale Ale (Crying Loon) to the Scottish Ale (Unfinished Business) to the Brown Porter Ale (Floating Leaf). However, a must try is always something from the specialty beer list. I tried a Strong Ale (TC's Sugar Shack) and loved the blend of NY ingredients including maple syrup.

When you do stop please ask the owner the significance of their name and crying loon reference. He will always take the time explain to explain the name and make for a wonderful tasting experience.

Thank Jim P

Probably some of the best beer I have had in the entire region. Besides the name says it all. The atmosphere and the building is incredible. Staff was great, beer was super and don't make the mistake of not stopping here you don't know what your missing.

A bunch of solid beers. Their saison really stuck out. Great combination of flavors. A few too many English/Scottish ales for my liking, but had enough to satisfy

Stopped for a change of pace from all the wineries. Parking is a bit sparse, but other than that, nice little place. Intimate tasting room. Knowledgeable staff. Refreshing to taste craft beers that are well balanced instead of just hugely hoppy.

Beer was good. Cute little place, please do not bring your children here. Staff was a little stressed but overall good time.
