Nice room with king size firm bed, small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker with tea/coffee, safe, full desk, recliner, flat screen tv, overlooking Northern Blvd. It was connected to a small Italian restaurant that had a small bar, and good food. They accommodated a large party of 12 at 3:00, before our concert across the street at Flushing Town Hall. Booked the room direct on web, and got a free breakfast. I would stay here again.
The first night was spent at our hotel in Flushings, NY, very near the avenue that hosted hundreds of Asian restaurants, delis, shops and clothing stores. You would have thought you were in "China Town" anywhere around the world. Our room overlooked a bustling street and we could view the skyline and the planes arriving and departing from La Guardia Airport. We stayed here to avoid some of the astronomically priced hotels located in Manhattan or in Times Square. The next day, he hailed an UBER driver to take us to the wharf to board our cruise ship, so choosing this hotel made some real sense.
Very clean hotel; good hot breakfast buffet, with attentive wait staff. We had to change rooms due to safe not working and traffic/roadwork noise on Northern Blvd. There was also construction noise in the neighborhood until after midnight on one evening, but that was something that hotel could not control.
I booked room directly on their website, the rates were lower than when I checked out. I called spoke to someone in front desk, I told them I didn't get discount they were offed online , they said they
Stayed at Marco Hotel for one night. Wanted to do sites in NYC, but hotel prices were very high. Family was in Flushing so looked for hotels there and found the Marco LaGuardia. All great reviews and good price. Room had 2 full size beds, very clean, mini fridge, coffee maker. Was very quiet. We parked off site in parking garage 2 blocks away but could street park if you could find a spot.
Wonderful buffet breakfast included, not the typical dry scrambled eggs. The eggs were creamy, French toast was very thick bacon done right. Also oatmeal and a pasta dish along with fruit. Delicious, best buffet breakfast I’ve had in a hotel.
Would stay there again if we go and visit relatives.
Area around hotel seems safe, police station a block away and tons of restaurants and small stores.
Very welcoming after a very long day. Convenient for La Guardia airport with free shuttle service. Large, comfortable room. AC a bit noisier than we are used to but we slept well. Very lively Chinese/Korean district.
