My wife and I have stayed here many times in the last several years. Staff have always been friendly. The hotel has really gone down hill in the last couple of years. Some examples are elevator not working often on a daily basis, room air conditioner broken and couldn’t be fixed even when maintenance man tried, and pool closed unable to find someone to maintain it. All these items just happened in the last few days staying. The place really needs a major refresh.
My apologies for you recent experience while staying with us. We are looking forward to a refresh that I am hoping will address some of the problems. The pool was not open this year as there were no pool contractors that could come out in the spring to make necessary repairs--our guests safety comes first
My wife and I just recently retired. We have just started our adventures. We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Fairfield hotel. This is the first online review we have composed. Our overall experience was wonderful. The staff was very attentive. The one manager (Bruce) seemed to be all over the place ensuring that every guest was taken care of. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was well stocked and prepared. Would highly recommend this hotel your future travels.

A huge undertaking, this was! I needed to book about 40 rooms to accommodate our of town employees for a company-wide event, the length of stay varying from 1 day to 5 days. Bruce V. was patient, accommodating and readily available for questions, special requests and the seemingly endless amount of changes that needed to be made. After my guests started to arrive, Bruce was attentive and requested that I contact him directly for any issues. The few very minor issues that we did encounter were attended to and resolved instantaneously and I received excellent feedback from all of my guests. Truly exceptional service and we look forward to working together again when the need arises

The entire first floor smelled of smoke, worse in our room. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the a/c vents were full of dust. The shower was covered in mildew. The carpet was CRUNCHY. Stay somewhere else!!
I am sorry for the cleanliness issues you experienced and the smell of smoke. It is below our standard and I've made the managers aware of your comments.
I am not sure where some of the criticisms being posted on here are coming from. Our group really enjoyed our short visit here. The outdoor pool being out of commission was a disappointment, but the rest was great. Rooms were clean and large; the lobby and eating areas clean and spacious. Breakfast met our hot and cold breakfast wants and needs. 24 hour coffee is always appreciated. Plus there was an excellent little marketplace that included alcohol, sundries, and food. Of course, Denny's and Cracker Barrel are in the parking lot. Above all, staff, including management, went above and beyond to meet our group needs. What's not to like? We will be back.
