A great place to spend an afternoon with horses.
Guided trail ride was 1.5 hours. Mostly walking, but there were three spots along the trail where you can trot (if you are comfortable with it).
Scenery was gorgeous - lots of shady trees and grassy slopes. We saw deer, rabbit, and cows. I rode a pretty, gentle horse named Bailey.

I loved every minute of my time at K&K.
My daughter’s top wish for our trip this year was to try riding a horse. We went for an hour long trail ride at K&K and it was exactly what she was hoping for. We were a large group and they accommodated us quickly and with relatively little notice, as we changed our minds about using another farm at the last minute. The guides were attentive, helpful, and friendly, and we all felt safe the whole time despite being really unfamiliar. The animals were clearly well cared for and well suited to their roles on the farm. The trail was pretty, too! We can’t wait to go back again. Thank you to the staff at K&K for giving my daughter her “best day ever”!
As a B&B, it is so important to have good amenities around, so that we can offer our guests a wide array of activities. We tried K&K before sending our guests, and we loved it. The staff is very competent and attentive, selecting the horses based on each person's experience. They have beautiful grounds with an easy itinerary that you follow, among beautiful nature and silence. Our guests raved about it. We definitely recommend K&K!
Always a fun time. We have been coming here for a few years in a row. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. No matter whether it's your 1st time or you are a pro you can be sure that you will be well taken care of.
This place is the best! Friendly owners. Safety first. Good for a group or a couple. They have overnight camping rides as well as trail rides. The views are amazing and they even have a pavilion there with picnic tables for your convenience.
This was a great experience. My family saddled up for a 1-hour ride through fields and woods near the equestrian center. We passed apple trees, a pine grove and over tiny streams. In open areas, the views of the mountains were magnificent.
Its clear the guides know and love the horses. There are adorable ducks, chickens and goats on the farm as well.
Details: There are 4 of us between the ages of 20 and 57. The management locked up our cell phones and gave us helmets. The staff adjusted matched us with horses helped us mount and adjusted our saddles. There were opportunities on the ride to canter a bit if the rider wanted to. We brought our own suntan lotion and bug spray.
