Husband was sick-did the right thing and stayed home.
Desmond said they still had to charge ($70) for him,fine, but I asked if we could get a to go meal and they said for food safety reasons no they couldn't.
I ran a food service operation and see no reason you couldn't provide a take out meal. I also have a degree in public health and feel punished for doing the right thing.

My company was hosting an event at this location. I was not able to join the reception as I was checking in guests. Patti, one of the banquet servers, saw me and asked if I wanted anything to eat. When I hesitated, she reviewed the menu with me, and asked what she could bring to me. I told her what I wanted and she brought it to me within just a few minutes! Thank you for going the extra mile and providing excellent customer service, thank you Patti!
Excellent service, very friendly hotel staff from the front desk to the people taking care of the rooms. The hotel has a cool layout and super quiet. Also recommend eating at Mr. D's, waiter Bill Spinosa was great, super friendly and concerned. Food is excellent
Clean, comfortable room! Bartender was a bit rude at Mr. D’s made it seem like it’a not a family friendly place . However the morning waiter was amazing! His name is Bill! Definitely made my overall stay go from negative to positive. Thanks Bill!
We enjoyed warm and competent hospitality with every aspect of our stay (nearly a week). Clearly management has created a culture where employees are empowered to meet their guests’ needs, where work appears to be a place of pride and joy. Totally unexpected in a chain hotel, as was the restaurant where fabulous food was served by friendly, good-humored professionals, even when just 2 waitresses were handling a busy Saturday night holiday weekend crowd. Love this hotel!
