a wonderful experience from check-in to check out...staff was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable...the rooms are tight and up to date modern, clean, comfortable and provided all my immediate needs...including self serve water station in the lobby!...thank you!

I took my 2 teens on a short vacation to the city. The room was perfect, clean and quiet. The interior of the property was clean. The exterior was littered each day- from the previous night's activities-- which could have been easily cleaned up every morning. We had the best front-desk host, who made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Steps from the subway. Amazing food nearby. Cool shops nearby. We loved the free filtered water (both still and carbonated) in the lobby- which comes with a thick glass bottle to refill (you return at the end of your stay). Continental breakfast was good. Valet parking on site. Nice little gym on site.

Room was NYC small but adequate. The frosted glass standing shower was right next to the bed with a small nightstand/shelf between them. There is NO work desk in any of the rooms. There is NO chair and only a stool. Not a place for a business traveler (IMO), there is zero space for a laptop and a notebook and/or mouse to be on the same surface. The front desk suggested using the conference room if I needed desk space. I shouldn't have to leave my room to work in a meeting room next to a noisy bar. I used the still and sparkling water filling station by the elevator quite a bit.
The room was clean and bug free. I saw one roach on the bar where continental breakfast is served and that was the end of free breakfast for me.
The location is 1 block away from the 4 & 5 trains for easy access into the city. If you are a tourist, this hotel would work just fine. If you are a business traveler and need a workspace inside your room, this is not the place. If there would have been some way to work in the room, I would have rated 4 stars overall.

The room was clean, but not as quiet as I would have desired.Alot of partying going on at night.

Not the best area… but hotel felt safe. Close to subway and bus… a plus. Helpful staff. Standard fare for included breakfast. Would have liked more fresh fruit. Comfortable bed and clean. No sitting area in room, but we were gone most of the time. Quiet in room. Bar/ restaurant was hoppin’ ! We had a couple meals in restaurant. Ask at desk if you order take-out and need a table and chairs. They will accommodate.
