Viva Safari did an excellent job setting up my Safari experience for a limited timeframe. Flights, airport pickup n drops, a comfortable stay at Tremisana Lodge, and amazing Safari itineraries and opportunities to see the wildlife of Balule Reserve & Kruger Nat'l Park, S.Africa. The guides Victor, Rocky, Smiley, Raymond and Nadine were knowledgeable, patient and accommodating and did everything to ensure we saw the Big 5, all the cats including Cheetah and everything in-between from animals to birds. The Bfast lapa overlooking a waterhole was the perfect location for passerby elephants, giraffes, hippos, warthogs and baboons. Mamma Dee's meals were delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable. Would highly recommend checking them out for a magical experience.

We will always cherish the lovely Safaris we went on from the lodge with the most resourceful guides like Luke, King George, etc. Who are so enthusiastic and devoted to sharing great knowledge with the guests. The schedules are very well spaced out to givevone a true Safari experience. Looking to revisit the Lodge for greater exploration.

We booked a safari package with Viva Safaris . This was four days although in reality much of the first and last days are spent travelling from and back to Johannesburg. However there is a game drive and dinner in the bush when you arrive and an early morning drive the day you leave.

The lodge is situated outside of Kruger and we did a walk and game drive in the surrounding area where we saw a lot of elephants, a lion in the distance and other animals. The Dayton Kruger park was great - as was the early morning walk to. Is it the hippos.

The staff are delightful. The accommodation is modest but all fine and very clean. Plenty of good food is provided.

The only thing really did not like was the constant expectation of tips. The handout given to us asked us to tip AUD $10 for EVERY event - which would have been a substantial amount on top of what is anyway an expensive trip. I hope the company pays its staff properly. Most people did not tip for every event. We did give some tips including to the wonderful staff member who did the cooking. But I would hate to think that by tipping we are encouraging the company not to pay its staff properly.
