I stayed here in July. Hotel was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Front desk very helpful and gave me toothpaste because I forgot mine. Downside was I asked for a walk in shower and was given a roll in. The issue with that is the floor outside the shower got wet making the bath mat unusable. Another issue was ease of access as you had to exit the hotel to the east even if you wanted to go west. Free breakfast was good. I did not use housekeeping as I was only there 2 days, I did tip the housekeepers. Very affordable

    Our first room had a terrible odor so we requested another room. The second room was a little better but still had an odor and the door to the closet was off track and was never repaired (we were there 8/8-12). We were on a block rate for 8/8 - 10 so we had to check out and back in for the remainder of our stay, 8/10 -12. When we checked out on 8/12 all was fine. However when our credit card statement arrived we were charged for an extra night. I called the hotel and was told my second reservation was for 8/10 - 13. Received two reservation confirmations, 8/8 - 10 and 8/10 - 12. I have called twice and was told both times that I would receive a call from the manager. I have yet to receive a call. I do not recommend this hotel!

    The check in process was simple. I had to ask where the Elevator was and also if they served and what time breakfast was. I was given 2 keys and went on my way. Tried the 1st key, it didn't work. Tried the 2nd key, it worked. Got into the room, tried to turn on the TV, didn't come on. Assuming it was the remote, I went downstairs to get another one. Waited for about 10 min for maintenance to bring a new remote to the front desk. Got back to the room, that remote didn't work either. Was this a bad TV? Who knows. Went to pick up the phone to call the front desk and guess what? Phone didn't work. We were only there for one night and had to get dressed and leave so i left it all alone. Left, got back later that night and to my surprise, the other key didn't work now! I almost thought all this was deliberate. Humf. Do better Holiday Inn Express!

    Hotel staff is friendly and the hotel looks nice. However, our room smells funky. Room smells like feet! Staff, again was friendly but offered nothing. Not looking for anything free, just looking for a value of what we paid for. Very unfortunate, but I guess it is what it is.

    My family and I stayed over Labor day weekend- one night to attend a family wedding. We took one of the most expensive rooms- a suite- because we were 4 in a room and all the other rooms had been taken by the bridal party and other travelers. When we arrived the elevator was out our entire stay. We had to walk up and down the stairs in our dresses and high heels. Although we took a suite and the hotel was aware how many people were staying in the room there were pillows, blankets and towels for only 2 people. They brought up more when we called the hotel desk. This was just not what we expected when taking an expensive room. The fact it was Labor Day weekend is no excuse. They appear to have been short staffed because I tried to speak to a manager and none were around. I was told to call back to see if they would make an accommodation on the room rate. I called the managers several times and there isn't even an answering machine. They simply never pick up. I wrote several emails to Holiday Inn Corporate and also received no response. The hotel itself is clean enough. The suite is decent enough if they stock it properly. But there is a lack of help and if you encounter a situation as I did you won't get satisfaction. I think this has soured me on Holiday Inn.

    Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the inconveniences during your stay. We do have another set of elevators that are working and have been directing guests to use them. We are very sorry if you were not informed! As for the extra bedding, we have used feedback like this to improve in this area. All suites now come with extra bedding for 4 guests.     We ended up here for one night because there was literally nothing else within a reasonable price range that wasn't super sketchy/crawling in bedbugs and black mold. The one night cost us $330. We weren't looking for much other than a clean room, a TV, and a comfortable bed since we were going to be at a wedding and not actually in the room for very long.

    After arriving back from the wedding, we were surprised to hear music still playing through speakers throughout the hallway on our floor in the early hours of the morning. I went down to the front desk to complain that it was hard to sleep when the music was audible from our room and the woman I spoke with said there was nothing she could do and apologized. Why is it necessary to play music at 3am in the hallway of a hotel where your sleeping guests can hear it? And why can't you turn it off?

    We appreciate the feedback, however we did not receive any complaints about the music playing within the hotel. Typically, our music is set at volume 3 where it is very soft & typically quite. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
