This hotel and its manager were the absolute worst. I have been a gold Marriott member for years and have NEVER experienced a Marriott Courtyard like this one! It was pricey and run down to say the least. I was told by the staff that TVS in all rooms were not working properly and they were aware of the problem and working on it. Could not watch my favorite channels because they did not link up with the guide and were not available. Staff had the audacity to tell me the only thing they could suggest is that I watch TV in the public lobby which worked! Hallway carpets were dirty and stained terribly, wallpaper discolored and coming off the wall in bathroom, rugs in room not vaccumed, white towels worn and not a bright white, minimal water pressure which was cool in temperature, minimal amenities in the room, pillows offered NO SUPPORT, and heat was not working properly — had to sleep in a heavy sweater. The manager did NOTHING to try and turn the ship around and make my stay somewhat enjoyable. I ended up sleeping in the uncomfortable room chair and going to bed early since I could not watch my favorite TV channels. I called Marriott Bonvoy and complained for the greater good so hopefully they will do something. STAY AWAY! There are so many great hotels out there that make it their mission to give their customers a great experience and take care of them. Not this place! I will think long and hard the next time I stay at a Marriott Courtyard, or any Marriott property.

Room tip: Trujy, stay away. Overpriced run down hotel with no concern of taking care of its guests.

My wife & I stayed over a busy weekend for a nearby hockey tournament. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed! The rooms and lobby were clean and maintained. We stopped by the lobby bar for drinks and a late bite - I recommend one of their amazing salads!

"All Night Long" by Lionel Ritchie plays in my head...as I listen to the sound of the HVAC unit on the outer wall rattle my teeth like a freight train.

I had the opportunity to stay the night in room 306 recently, and let's just say for the price, it left a lot to be desired. Starting with the HVAC not getting to temperature, and making a terrible noise as it tried. All night long.

Next, the tub. The tub has no way to plug it. Yes, I know hotel tubs are a gross thing, but occasionally they are necessary, as was the case in my recent stay. I called down to the desk, and they were able to send a drain plug to the room. Great fix, but that should not have been necessary.

While I am on the topic of the tub/shower combo, I should state that the temperature really could not get to a significantly warm / nice and hot temperature. It's as if it is temperature controlled.

There was wallpaper in both the bathroom and the bedroom that was bubbling and peeling from the wall.

One of the light bulbs over the nightstand between the beds was not functional.

The light in the room is already very, very poor, making it difficult for those who need to apply makeup to do so.

They make you sign a ridiculous waiver / acknowledgment of sorts about the hotel in the parking lot when you check in. Very strange, having stayed in hotels and average of 100 nights per year over the last decade, I have not stated any other hotel that uses this practice.

There is one elevator to service the entire hotel. They often host lots of kids for sporting events over the weekend, and those kids love to hold the elevator for their friends. You do the math.

The sink in the bathroom is terribly clogged and backs up anytime you use it, even something as small as brushing your teeth.

The toilet barely flushes, so you better flush it after any small matter that is non-liquid touches the water. Even then, you will still find it clogging.

Most alarming, there is a door to a secret storage room in the third floor hallway. This door was essentially locked open. That's right, not locked clothes, but locked open. Always the curious mind, I had to check out what was in the secret room. I was surprised to find many dozens of file boxes full of things like employee records going many years back. Information privacy anyone? PII? Who knows what kind of guest information might be on this paperwork as well. There was far too much of it to simply be employee information only.

Good afternoon, I apologize your room was not up to Marriott Standard. We do work hard to have every guest enjoy their stay. I would like to look into this, as far as the room and the condition. We are schedule for a renovation this year. As for the pricing, we are priced in line of the market. Thank you for letting me know. Joe

After reading the reviews, I was worried about staying here, but there was really no other alternative. Even though the price for this place is expensive, we booked it. I'm glad we did. I gave it 4 out of 5, because it's overpriced for what it gives. It's not like it's a beachfront or even near the beach hotel; it's in an ugly corporate park off a noisy highway near the 33/34 circle.

At the time we went, the lobby and half the hotel were under remediation and being renovated. They did offer free coffee in the mornings, but any breakfast had to be gotten somewhere else. My allergies were not reacting to anything in the lobby area, nor did I detect anything. However, someone sensitive to dust or other construction byproducts might have a different experience.

We had room 306, which I found to be quite good, even though it's a connecting room. The courtyard view is all right but nothing special. It was slightly perfumed-smelling, but did not set off my allergies. I was pleased that the mattresses had 6-sided encasements. They were also pillowtop and comfortable. My requests for a feather-free room had been done, as was my request for an extra sheet. The room passed my Swiffer test and was mostly clean, with the exception of a previous customer's McDonald's trash under one of the beds.

The bathroom was clean and functional and the shower had decent water pressure. There was enough hot water for me to take a bath, although the tub is small. The AC in the room worked well and the blackout curtains closed completely. The fridge kept our drinks cold. I did not use the microwave, but I did use the little one-cup coffee maker to make hot water.

The room and the hotel were fairly quiet the weekend we went. The staff were cordial and helpful.

I think once the renovations are complete and their Bistro is back, this will be a very nice, if overpriced, hotel. I didn't bother with photos, since the ones on TripAdvisor are accurate, with the exception of the indoor pool. If this hotel has a pool, I never found it.
