We recently stayed here in mid-September, and while the weather was somewhat dreary, the hospitality was bright, cheery, and welcoming! The front desk staff - George, Ryan, Amanda, Sage - were all super helpful with local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room was immaculate and very well appointed. The location is perfect, just a few blocks walk to the main town for dining and shopping. We'll definitely be back!
I grew up in Spring Lake and know all the inns and hotels. I chose the Chateau Inn because it is updated, clean, quiet and has the ideal location to walk into town, the park or to the beach. We stayed in the King Suite which was perfect for 4 days in September. The inn had great coffee, bikes to rent and the owners and staff are super nice. I highly recommend the Chateau.

Now for the place, we arrived a little bit early and we were willing to stay in town, but they said we were able to go into our room a little little bit earlier, and they upgraded us without any cost, which was
The room was beautiful, just beautiful clean spacious. We even got a kitchen
I highly recommend this place. I’m definitely coming back in December which recommended they have a ladies night in town.

This is an extremely positive review and we’ve stayed numerous times in all price point rooms and will definitely return. I love the place, however, they have limited amenities.
It is not 3.5 stars because of the lack of onsite restaurant, gym, pool or breakfast options. There is no elevator.
Amenities include beach chairs, chinzey beach towels, beach bag, beach badge, bike rentals($). There is a lobby with drinks available all day and outdoor tables.
Rooms and lobby are very clean and well maintained with a good housekeeping staff.
There is a deli next door open for breakfast and lunch.
Parking is limited and you may need to park a block away.
The Chateau Inn at Spring Lake is a special property with exquisite touches in the reception area, lounge and rooms. The flavored waters, iced tea and coffees were very welcoming and refreshing. The outdoor spaces were very inviting, overlooking the beauty of the park areas around Spring Lake. The staff were very accommodating and warm, including giving great restaurant recommendations and throwing in a bottle of wine for a celebratory dinner. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for a great visit!
